The Grantham Canal Society Discovery Day, Woolsthorpe

We were invited to play at the Grantham Canal Society's 2013 Discovery Day at the Rutland Arms, aka The Dirty Duck. Even though it was rather soggy to say the least, lots of people turned out. One of the highlights of the afternoon was the Duck Race down the canal by-wash. (On canals, a by-wash weir takes excess water around a lock,in this case Willis Lock, No 17.) Needless to say, the other highlight was Melstrum's performance!
